Loved everything about this place! Staff were lovely; all so friendly and helpful. Our room was great. Very spacious and light, and although it'd been set up for a king bed, there were no issues when we requested to alter to twin beds (Unfortunately, the request hadn't made its way to the hotel from Booking.com, so not the hotels fault). Beds were very comfortable and the linen was clean; lovely bed to sink into after a long day. It was quiet too, as it's not in the thick of all the action, which was ideal and made for a perfect night's sleep. Fresh towels when needed were left for us and the robes and slippers were a lovely touch - nice to come back to after a long day walking around Dublin! Shower was great too as it was spacious with very good water pressure and consistently hot - This is always a bugbear of mine, as having long, thick hair, a decent shower is rare to come by, but I could not fault the facilities at all. The room was spotless and housekeeping kept on top of this daily and replenished our tea, coffee and milk supplies every day - Loved the coffee machine in our room! Breakfast was gorgeous too, such an array of options, whether you wanted to go healthy or have something more filling from the hot selection (egg preferences accommodated) and all fresh each day. Tea and coffee are made for you upon arrival for breakfast each morning so you're guaranteed a fresh brew. I was very impressed with the honeycomb in the buffet, delightful on top of the granola with fruit and yoghurt. Perfect location if you're looking to explore Dublin as everything is walkable from where the hotel is situated. Hotel staff were very helpful with maps on hand and knowledgeable about the city to point you in the right direction while you get your bearings. Overall, I was really impressed with every aspect and would gladly stay again and recommend to family/friends.

This was a spectacular location near Trinity College, Oscar Wilde Park just across the street - with good walking paths, and playgrounds for kids. Great restaurants, pubs, all around. Great hotel bar/pub for drinks before & after dinner. The rooms were updated: had coffee, tea service in room, iron & ironing board, pretty much everything you need. It was also the only hotel that had outlets for US electronics (which meant my wife & I could charge all our electronics before our return flight. Our room was very quiet; it had one window that opened, that allowed us to better control the temp & lighting in the room. Bathroom had a tub/shower with rain shower & shower wand, linens were all very new & fluffy. Energy conservation: The electrical service to the rooms is activated by dropping a room key into the slot in the light switch, which allows you to shut off all the electronics as you leave without having to go throughout the place shutting off each light, lamp, etc. It also means, when you drop the card back in, all those lights & lamps come back on, so the room is lit the same as when you were last in it. It can cause some issues: The card activation was not explained to our group upon arrival, so it took a little bit to figure out in the dark. Again, once we figured it out, it was a pretty great amenity, as we could pull the card and go. However, if you want to leave something plugged in and charging, then you have to leave the card plugged in (which means you have one less keycard).

Our 2nd stay at The Mont and it won't be our last! The staff at the front desk, restaurant and bar (The Sin Bin) are polite and always helpful. Breakfast (extra cost) is fresh, delicious and there are lots of options. This boutique hotel is modern and beautifully decorated, the rooms are spotless and very nice and there's a great gym on the premises. The Mont in an excellent location; walk to Merrion Square Park (near the home of Oscar Wilde), Temple Bar area, National Gallery of Ireland, Trinity College, restaurants, shopping and so much more. They have a covered, secure parking lot a couple of blocks away which they share with another hotel - it's not free but great to have as an option if you have a car - public transportation is nearby if you don't. The Mont is around the corner from Sweny's Pharmacy, truly a Dublin treasure (circa 1847) which was mentioned in Ulysses. Stop by and say hi to PJ Murphy, (also an Irish treasure) who is one of the volunteers at Sweny's as well as a tour guide. Participate in a reading there if you can, such a wonderful, uniquely Irish experience! If you are interested in anything James Joyce, you will be happy you visited! Looking forward to our next stay at the Mont!

I have previously stayed at this hotel and I was mainly excited to come back for the stylish rooms overlooking Merrion Square and the breakfast! I have been to many hotels, but the standard of brekafast and the variety of food is very good. My favourite part about the breakfast were the smoothies. The view in the breakfast room was also really nice. What made both of my stays extra special was the excellent customer service. Eddy and Roseli were so welcoming and kind. If you are looking to stay somewhere central, in a stylish room and with great breakfast, I could not recommend enought this hotel. The staff and facilities are amazing. There is also a gym, but I have not tried it. I will have to come back again some time soon. Thank you to Eddy and Roseli for making our stay incredible and memorable!

The staff at The Mont is faultless. Staff members are kind, on the ball, polite and friendly, particularly breakfast servers and those working in the Sin Bin. I absolutely love this hotel - everything has been thought of! The rooms are functional, spacious, clean and practical. Showers are huge and bathrooms pretty spotless. But my biggest "hats off" goes to the chef of the Sin Bin - his Caesar salads are AMAZING!
